Thanks for the comments!  He's a mix of different cultures actually, mostly from the Asian steppes.  I wouldn't be surprised if there was some Turkish influence in there.

It looks either like he's from some parts of northern china or mongolia, or is from certain parts of Russia.
The style of chainmail and ax is what makes me inclined to lean Russian.
Also, thank you for putting this up, it gave me an idea for another culture in a campaign world I've been building for a few years.

Hey!  It's definitely meant to be a mix of the regions you mentioned, mostly the Asian Steppe... lot's of unexplored influences from that part of the world.
