I agree with the other commenters -- it's pretty dark. His right arm pretty much disappears into his body.

Overall, it's a great piece though :D

It's amazing. I would suggest, though, that you may want to make the energy weapon not be the only element which jumps out in terms of the color. If you picked out other elements of the design in an arc with the blade (face etc) and added lighter coloration to them also you would have a more interesting focal point.

slightly too dark. I know it's nurgle, and it needs to be dark-ish, but you have a massive black-spot in the centre of the image right now..you should try to avoid that from a compositional point of view... it also make me want to see more detail on the parts that arent dark.

Thanks for the comments everyone! More light in places, more slime!! I'm trying a new painting technique, so there's a bit of a learning curve... but not bad for 2 days.
